Search functionality allows you to find words or phrases within:

Document names, descriptions, and keywords
-
Text content of any document
Search is not case-sensitive but is space-sensitive. You can use special search symbols to enhance your searches:

Represents any number of characters including none. Example: the* finds the, then, there, etc. |

Represents one character. Example: th?n finds then, than and thin. |
"<phrase>" |
Searches for the exact phrase, in the order presented. Example: "customer account" only finds customer and account where they are found in this order. |
Search Results
Search results are displayed in a list view and include the following details:

Snippet of document text

Document breadcrumbs

Last updated information
-
Location of search term match
If no matches are found, the system suggests alternative terms based on the content.

Navigating search results
To navigate through the search results:

Click a document name to open it.

Click a breadcrumb link.
When you select a document from the search list, the matching search term is highlighted in yellow.

Auto-suggest
Based on a search term with a minimum of three characters, system will suggest the most relevant documents.

Advanced filters refine your search to narrow results. These filters may include:
Note: Search filters are customizable, so you may have only a few of the filters listed below.

Document type (Such as a procedure, policy, flow chart, etc.)

Changed when (Last modified date)

Classification field

Custom property
Note: If the Custom property filter is not visible, check your Admin Settings. It may be disabled based on your configuration or role permissions.

System-saved search
System-saved search allows you to save your frequently used filters and search parameters, so you don’t need to redefine them every time. This feature is particularly useful for those who often search using the same criteria.
Note: You can store up to 10 saved searches for quick access.
